First Communion Photographs
First Communion Photographs? It’s not always possible to visit the Family celebrating on the day. First Communions happen pretty much all in the same month, on the same weekend. This means sometimes we have to arrange the photoshoot for some other day. Initially to gather and take photographs, to keep the memories forever. That Sunday weather was perfect for outdoor activities. Tthe kids literally could spend all day outside, enjoying the sun;). Obviously, for taking photographs having so much harsh light is not really great. Squinting eyes, so much contrast, you have seen it all, right?. Somehow we managed to take a few Family portraits;). The atmosphere was nice, Family members had gathered to celebrate with the girls;). Yes, we had not just one First Communion Girl, but Two;).
For those who don’t know me, I have a set of twins myself and would probably always get excited that tiny wee bit more when coming to photograph sets of twins;). It’s truly special. And don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that having one child is not special, as it is.
Now, when it comes to photographs, aside these group pictures, I would always aim to capture these natural moments, people exchanging greetings, having a a laugh together, having conversations. It is very often that Family Gatherings happen around First Communions and Confrmations, so that cousins, aunts, uncles, grannies, grandas and and you name it – get together;). A lot of fun, I have to say;).
