When it comes to pregnancy photography, it is always such an extra special time as soon there will a new addition to the Family and life will change forever. I love taking photographs of people with all the emotions that appear. However taking photographs of an expecting Mum is magical.
Initially, it meant to happen a week earlier, but not everything goes as planned. No worries. Eventually, we met in a Rossmore on a great, mild day. It was not too hot, and no rain in sight. Simply pleasant. We all met in a beautiful park of Rossmore to capture the special time for Mums to be;). Time goes so fast, and it’s hard to remember and cherish all these precious mooments, especially if there more little darlings at home. Therefore I think it is very important to save the unique feelings in a frame. Now, I have to say – we had a blast! As one would say – good craic. We aimed for some posed photographs but a lot of laughter could be heard in the backround. The girls genuinely took the best out of the venture. And Rossmore can offer all sorts of lighting and surroundings. I love going back to the park, as there is something interesting every time I go back.
Pregnancy photohoots are very important. Whether you do it with your own phone/tablet or anything else handy in the house, or hire a photographer to do it for you, it’s very good to have all these moments captured. I think, one day, the grown up child might have a solid tear in their eyes, when they see the photographs of their Mum in such a stunning shape;). I love it already.
It’s a beautiful time for every woman. They blossom. They flourish. Confident. Strong but fragile and delicate, at the same time. Most of all, however – happy! It is a great privilege to be part of such a special time where magic happens;).
I would like to leave you with this quote: “The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new.” and so in you the child your mother lives on and through your family continues to live… so at this time look after yourself and your family as you would your mother for through you all she will truly never die.”
