Christening Day
As I have said it before, I love taking photographs during the christening ceremomy. Beautiful occassion for the Family to gather. Precious memories to capture. When it comes to christening photographs, it’s a lifetime experience. A one off memory that needs to be written down. Priest of the Parish of St. Macartan’s Cathedral run the ceremony in a warm and friendly manner. Lovely readings and prayers presented.
I get very lucky with my job as I am able to see all different babies at different stage in their life. This time around I got to see a very cute baby boy, who was just a just over two months old. We met on a previous occasion a few months earlier. Baby was not ready to see the world back then, as it was under Mum’s heart. He arrived in the months of Summer and grew strong and beautiful.
On the day, we took a lot of natural, casual photographs to highlight the day. Also a set of group photographs, to ensure we have everyone in the picture. Indeed, it was a beautifully put together ceremony and enjoyed by the Family Members. It was a good day, a little chilly but dry and pleasant. Lovely story to have! Thank You for having me. Again. Capturing the one off opportunity or regular activities that one day may no longer be part of our lives. Waiting for the moment to happen, narrating it invisibly, when it is needed. Photography is a huge part of one’s life and should be the perfect tool to help memorize the life. Every single day something important happens. Every single day little ordinary things will happen, too. They are worth remembering.
