As I have said it before, I love taking photographs during the christening ceremomy. Beautiful occassion for the Family to gather. Precious memories to capture. When it comes to christening photographs, it’s a lifetime experience. A one off memory that needs to be written down.
Firstly, we captured all the little preparations that happened before the ceremony. Putting on the clothes is a lovely way to kick off the day. It adds on to the day so much, and will be rememebered in years to come. Secondly, Food! Nobody can go far without it. In this instance auntie’s help came in handy. It’s great to be able to capture this very important engagement between Family Members. Baby Kaja is a lucky girl to have all this, and also Big Brothers and a Big Sister to look after her. Not to mention, affecionate cousins and friends;).
On the day, we took a lot of natural, casual photographs to highlight the day. Starting off the actual gathering in church. Then followed by introduction and friendly chat with the local priest. Oil oinment and the actual batipsm, also lighting the candle and a gift presenation were truly special addition to the ceremony. I have to say! It was carried out in a very beaatiful way.
Also a set of group photographs were taken, to ensure we have everyone in the picture. Some photos taken inside the Sant Mary’s Church and some takne later on in the house. It was a memorable day for the Family and sweet moments for the Baby Kaja to cherish as she is growing up.
Here you can see some of previous memories with the Family. & First Communion. Glad to be back. And see You again.
